TAKE IT CHELSEA:Lionel Messi of Barcelona      http://www.google.com/
The world top favourites to reach the finals of
European champions league has suffered a surprise exits. It was written on people's mind that the two will meet in the finals but it wasn't it at the end of the semifinals.

Barcelona has out played their opponents,Chelsea but it wasn't good enough to see them reach the finals in Munich on the 19th of May.Barcelona had the most in ball possession compared to Chelsea but they couldn't convert their chances.

Tough battle it was but Chelsea have stacked to their basics of dealing with defending champions style of play.Chelsea strategy saw the Barca players frustrated in dealing with the ten men Chelsea after captain John Terry got a red card.

The champions saw themselves eliminated in the champions league  second leg in front of their fans. Now Barca have no chance to lift a trophy after a defeat in the weekend's Clasico against Madrid.

O MY GOSH:Christiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid http://www.google.com/
On Wednesday another Spanish giant(Madrid) suffered a home defeat against Bayern Munich, who went to Spain with a 2-1 win in the 1st leg.Madrid suffered a shock defeat on penalty shootout against the four-time Champions of European Soccer's top club tournament, who are now reaching the finals for the second time in three seasons.

Madrid were outstanding but not doing well on the penalty shootout to book a place in the finals.

What these two teams have:
  • quality players
  • they play good football
  • plenty of supporters
  • record breakers,CR7 Ronaldo(Madrid) and Lionel Messi(Barcelona)
Watch out for the finals:Bayern Munich vs Chelsea at Allianz Arena stadium in Germany,19 May 2012

  1. I think that most of the footballing community was caught up in glorifying the two spanish giants, Barcelona in particular. Yes we have seen phenomenal football from them, again from Barcelona in particular however in football anything can happen and it is your performance on the day that determines tho outcome.

    1. True that and it was about time to see too much competition between the European teams from different leagues showing that it is made for them all not for a certain team.

  2. i think barca lost it when all the defenders wanted to attack, they were good at attacking but they couldnt come back and defend... Chelsea killed the game when they put in Torres as he sticked into the coaches instructions. GO BLUESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

    1. That was a well prepared strategy to beat Barca because is not easy to compete with them when it comes to ball possession.

  5. All these teams are the best but they play differnt football.I think on the 19th May it will be the day where we can see the difference between these two teams, the day where we can see who is the best of the best.Lets not compare this final with the previous one, lets look ahead and see who is the best.

  6. well m glad of the outcome of the semi-final matches, because I for one was tired of seeing a Barcelona Vs Madrid final all the time. These results show that teams such as Bayern and Chelsea are starting to bring their A-game and actually give Madrid and Barcelona a run for their money, Bayern and Chelsea proved to the world that they are forces to be reconned with.

    1. It was a well desreve win for both teams and that shows the champions league is for the teams that are participating not for certain teams.

  7. Thing is these big teams go to the field knowing that they are going to win as a result they get disappointed and that`s what I guess chelsea will do.

  8. Just to add on your points the spanish giants make a massive revenue too. Eventhough they exited in the semis but it must be mentioned they pulled a good fight. So between Chelsea and Bayern whom are you backing?

  9. Football is a game off luck and whether one wins or not it is still the love off the game in the end, but it is always nice to watch champions league.

  10. we have to remember that foot ball its a game where there is no guaratee for any team to win, so we cannot just take it for grated that whichever team is going to win hence there are two possibilities in the nature of any game such as foot ball
